Raid on Reykjavik Reloaded je nový film o jedné z největších sabotáží na poli osvobození zvířat v dějinách, potopení poloviny islandské velrybářské flotily. Zabývá se její přípravou a provedením, ale i následky a lovem velryb jako takovým. Jeho anglický název odkazuje na povídku Roda Coronada, jednoho ze sabotérů, která celým filmem provádí.
Od 15.00 do 18.00 v brněnském Kupé.
Festival je bez sponzorů, nevýdělečný a je postaven čistě na dobrovolnické bázi. Lidé (Kolektiv pro zvířata, infoshop Pelech a Kulturní Kolektiv), kteří jej pořádají, se již několik let ve svém volném čase zabývají propagací tohoto zdravého a etického životního stylu společně s osvětou o ochraně zvířat.

Ailesi koyun besleyen bir adam tarafından ulaşıldı bana , aile yeni doğan kuzulardan bazılarını et olmaları için satacak diğerlerini de öldürecekti, öyle söylemişlerdi. Adam onlara bunu yapmamaları için yalvardı…ama nafile. Altı kuzu öldü, bir kuzunun kaderi ise belli değildi.
Adam bu yüzden ailesinin kararına rağmen kuzuları kurtarmaya karar verdi.
Bana yazdı ve yardım istedi.
Bir gece öldürülmeleri kesin olan 7 kuzuyu aldık ve onları yeni yuvalarına götürdük.

Fui contactado por un hombre, cuya familia tiene ovejas en cautiverio, ya que habían decidido que iban a vender algunos de los borregos recién nacidos para carne y matar a otros ellos mismos. El les pidió que no lo hicieran, pero en vano. Seis de ellos tenían que morir, el destino de uno de los borregos no estaba todavía claro.

I was contacted by a man whose family has sheep in captivity, and they decided that they are going to sell some of the newborn lambs for meat and to kill the other ones by themselves. He pleaded with them not to do it. To no avail. Six of them had to die, one lambs fate was uncertain.
He decided, therefore, that he will save the lambs against the wishes of his family.
He wrote to me and asked for help.
So one night we took seven lambs designated for slaughter and took them to new homes.
Kontaktoval mě člověk, jehož rodina má v zajetí ovce a narozená jehňata se rozhodli zčásti prodat na rožeň a z části pozabíjet sami. Prosil je, ať to nedělají. Zbytečně. Šest jich mělo zemřít, osud jednoho byl nejistý.
Rozhodl se tedy, že jehňata zachráni proti vůli své rodiny. Napsal mi a požádal o pomoc.
A tak jsme jedné noci vzali z čekárny na smrt sedm jehňat a odvezli je do nových domovů.
