Rescate abierto XX (Abril de 2011) y apoyo a Marie Mason y EricMcDavid
13 gallinas fueron rescatados de un sufrimiento innecesario y una muerteviolenta. Fueron transportadas a un nuevo hogar, donde seguramente van a vivir en la hierba, al sol y al aire fresco. Serán capaces de extender sus alas y correr, y los más débiles tendrán la posibilidad de escapar de los más fuertes.

Support for Marie Mason and Eric McDavid
Marie Mason (1962) was arrested in March 2008 on charges related to the Earth Liberation Front and sentenced to nearly 22 years (262 months) in prison. She was accused of two counts of sabotage. She refused to sell out other activists, but she eventually pleaded guilty for 13 actions (12 ELF and 1 ALF action). No one was injured nor killed in those actions. Her husband, Frank Ambrose, who was a police informant, testified against Marie.

Eric McDavid (1977) was arrested in January 2006 and sentenced to 19 years and 7 months for conspiracy to sabotage. Besides him four others were arrested. Anna Davies, Lauren Weiner, Zachary Jenson and Eric McDavid. Anna Davies was an agent provocateur for the FBI (since she was 17). She placed money into purchasing material, for transport, rented the cabin etc. According to the testimonies she initiated the actions. Lauren Weiner and Zachary Jenson, both of Eric’s co-defendants, caved under the threat of being imprisoned for 20 years and plead guilty to a lesser charge. In doing so, they agreed to testify against Eric and cooperate in every way possible, including testifying in front of secret grand jury proceedings. He was eventually sentenced to an outrageous 19 years and 7 months in prison for conspiracy, which for the big part was put together and financed by the FBI. It is questionable whether any “conspiracy” would occur, if there was no FBI involvement.
